I am trying to fiind a good guide book on Russia that I can purcchase in the the States before I go on vacation in Europe. Can any one recommend one that will tell me where i can find most of the major tourist attractions. Most of all, I would like to go and see the Iron Curtain. Is it kept in a museum someplace or is it still where it was during the communist times..

How easy would it to travel with a dog in eastern europe? what are the peoples attitudes there to them?
